Wrath and the Dawn

🥀Not sparing us to divulge in even a second of regret, @reneeahdieh takes us on a journey of love. strategy and betrayal. An engaging patchwork quilt with threads from the famous One Thousand and One Nights, The Wrath and The Dawn series is a heart-winning duology.🥀

.

🥀From the prologue to the epilogue, you are kept on your toes, always waiting for next scene. What will happen to Sheherzade? Will she be able to witness the next sunrise? Is she clever enough to delay her fate? How do her feelings for the monster king evolve with each passing day?🥀

.

🥀On the other side of the network is Khalid, who goes by the title of "monster king" for most out there. Will he figure out Sheherzade's tactics? Follow the series to find out why our monster king is labelled as that, delve into his past, the tragedies, misery and despair. A young boy-king, thrust into a living nightmare and having to bind himself in chains of mental restraint every day when he cant do anything but watch on as he loses yet another bride for the crime of being his betrothed.🥀

.

🥀Personally, the three of us were all over the place when we read this book, the twists, the turns, the beautiful description of characters that helped us imagine each character for their true images albeit in our imagination. The earthen vibes, the streets of Khorasan and the magnificent palaces and food servings were attractive features. But most of all, the style of writing that managed to get us to emote as much as the personalities within the pages was the part. To create a situation in which we laugh every time they laugh, and cry every time they cry is a feat well done and took us to deep corners within our hearts, emotionally drained.🥀
