When Jack the Ripper goes around murdering people in London’s underbelly, leaving behind him a string of bodies, Audrey Rose is sucked into the gruesome world of corpses and gore. Along with her classmate, Thomas Cresswell, and her uncle, she sets out to solve the puzzle behind the dark deaths. But as the story unwinds, she realizes that the search for the answers bring her close to her own sheltered home.

The first book was very well written, the introduction, the character description, the story line everything was perfect! The plot twists were so shocking that we had to actually close the book and exclaim ‘What did we just read!?’

This book is our favorite from the entire series! The pace of this book was so good, the mystery and thrill were just fantastic and the character developments were the cherry on top!

This book was a little disappointing because the author tried creating a weird love triangle that wasnt really needed for the story and that was just annoying. The details and descriptions of the scenes however in this book were so very well written that you could very well imagine yourself as a spectator!
